Jerome T. Gaughran

Bloomfield – Jerome T. “Jerry” Gaughran, 80, passed away on Friday August 26, 2016 at Haven Hospice at JFK in Edison. Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield before moving to his daughter’s house in Clark three years ago.

Jerry worked for the USPS in Bloomfield for many years before retiring. He was a veteran of the US Army having served from 1956-1958.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anita, who died in 2010. He is survived by his two daughters, Christa Muselli and her husband, Gary, and Karen Santonastaso and her husband, Ralph; and his beloved grandchildren, Morgan and Nicholas Santonastaso and Alexa Muselli.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 1st at 10AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave., Bloomfield.  Arrangements are by Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home in Clark (www.krowickigorny.com).
