Back in the 1960's-80 in Elizabethport section was affiliated with Cub Scouts Pack 16 & Boy Scout Troop 16.
One memory sticks out .. in the late 1960's her driving us on a snowy Saturday morning on a field trip to an ice cream plant on Route 1-9 in Woodbridge. Driving conditions were treacherous. Her BIG car was yawing all over the highway in the still falling snow.
I was a scared pre-teen in her back seat. When we arrived we found the ice cream plant was closed due to the storm. LOL Funny go figure. Turn around and go home one of many disappointed ice cream-less Pack 16 cub scouts.

My condolences
It is with great pain I write my condolence to the family. Regardless, of how many time we hear of people dying, we never get use to the pain that we feel in our heart. However, we hurt more when a family member pass, especially those that we were extremely close too. Please remember the "God of all comforts" (2corinth 1:3-4),"will comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with thecomfort that we receive from God." May he countinue to give you strength and to remember all the good memories.
