Yuk Mui Chin

Yuk Mui (Susan) Chin, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022, with her children by her side. Born in Hong Kong, she came to the United States when she married Mook Sang (George) Chin in 1955. She was a resident of Edison, NJ for 35 years. Prior to that, she lived in Clark, NJ where she and her husband of 51 years owned and operated Rice Bowl Food Shoppe and Rice Bowl II Restaurant since 1969.

Susan was the loving mother of Daniel and his wife, Mei; Lillian; Monica and her husband, David Lee; and Michael and his wife, Analyn. She was the treasured grandmother of Sarah and her husband, Brian Melo; Simon and his wife, Michelle Yamada; Steven; Alexander and his wife, Chynel; Cassandra Aronds and her husband, Ryan DePascale; Violet Lhant; Hannah Lee; Ariana; and Hunter. Susan was also the adoring great-grandmother of Paul, Caleb, and Brianna Melo. She was the cherished sister of 1 God- Sister, 12 siblings, 17 siblings-in-law, and beloved aunt of 69 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, N.J. Visitation will be from 10 to 11am and the memorial service from 11am to 12pm Internment will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery, Rahway.
