Virginia A. Sandy-Moylan, age 69, of Rahway, passed away on Saturday August 8, 2020, at the J.F.K Medical Center, Edison.
Born and raised in Elizabeth, to Theodore and Adele Sandy, Mrs. Sandy-Moylan lived in Scotch Plains and most recently Rahway for the past 27 years. She worked as a Welfare Fraud Investigator for Union County Division of Social Services from 1971-2018. Mrs. Sandy-Moylan loved the beach and vacationing in Cape May. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. She was fascinated with the history of the Victorian Era. Mrs. Sandy-Moylan loved animals and rescued six cats over the years.
Mrs. Sandy-Moylan is survived by her loving companion Michael Shea; mother Adele Sandy; daughter Holly A. Moylan; one brother; Richard Sandy and his wife Carol; one niece; June Sandy.
She is predeceased by her father the late Theodore Sandy.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Friday August 14, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Prayer Service and Eulogy will be offered at 8 pm during the Visitation. A funeral ceremony will begin on Saturday August 15, 2020, at 8:45 am, from the funeral home, thence to Divine Mercy Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am. Cremation services are private.
