Stella F. (Pachana) Kurdyla

Stella F. Kurdyla (nee Pachana), age 69, was called to God on Wednesday September 13, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Dukla, Poland, to Andrew and Monika Pachana, she immigrated to the US in 1961 with her parents and she has been a longtime resident of Clark for the past 45 years. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Linden Board of Education for 25 years while simultaneously raising her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Richard Kurdyla; three daughters, Cathy (Matthew), Melissa (Tray), and Victoria (Brian); two sisters, Sophie (Albert) and Gladys (Ron); one brother, Peter (Angel); six grandchildren, August, Luke, Easton, Lowynn, Landon, and Reese as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday September 17, 2023, from 3-7 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home

211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Ceremony will begin on Monday September 18, 2023 at 8:30 am at the Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am, at St. John the Apostle R. C. Church, Linden. Interment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Stella was a devoted member of the Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation and in lieu of flowers we kindly request a donation to that Foundation on her behalf.
