Sophie (Wozniak) Pazdro

Sophie Pazdro, 86 of Kenilworth, N.J., passed away on December 3, 2018 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ.

Born in Nowiny, Poland, Sophie and her family were relocated to Legnica, Poland during World War II.  Sophie came to the US in 1961 and shortly thereafter met and married her husband, Alexander.  Sophie lived in Irvington, NJ until 1987, before moving to Kenilworth, NJ.  Sophie was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander.  She is survived by her son, Roman Pazdro, daughter-in-law, Peggy, her sister Gabriella Sztyler, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives in the US and Poland.

Sophie was known for her kindness, generosity, cooking and baking skills.  She will be greatly missed by those that were fortunate to have known her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm, at the The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Rd, Doylestown, PA on Friday, December 7, 2018, with interment, to follow. Visitation Thursday from 4:30-7:30 pm at the funeral home.
