Rita C. Krowicki

Rita C. Krowicki, age 88, peacefully passed away on Wednesday March 31, 2021, at the Clark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born and raised in Elizabeth, to Jacob W. Krowicki, Sr. and Bertha (nee Gola), she continued to reside there her entire life. Ms. Krowicki worked as a secretary for the Gorny & Gorny Elizabeth Mortuaries, Elizabeth, NJ, for over 40 years. She is a lifetime parishioner of St. Adalbert’s R.C. Church, Elizabeth and was a member of the St. Theresa’s Club at the church as well.

Ms. Krowicki is survived by four nephews and one niece; Stephen Poltz, Paul Poltz and his companion Trish, Robert Poltz and his wife Lisa, Pamela L. Konops and her husband Walter, and Jonathan C. Krowicki and his wife Sarah; one sister in law, Patricia Krowicki; eleven great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Scott, Sara, Ilah, Avery, Olivia, Jorja, Gillian, Samuel, Ian, and Addison.

She is predeceased by her brother Carl F. Krowicki (2003) and sister Barbara Poltz (2005).

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Monday April 5, 2021, from 5-7pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday April 6, 2021, 10 am, at St. Adalbert’s R.C. Church, Elizabeth. Interment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations, in her name to St. Adalbert's R.C. Church 250 East Jersey St. Elizabeth, NJ 07206.
