Obituary
Richard A. Medway, Jr., age 70, passed away on Monday April 17, 2023, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, to Richard, Sr. and Lillian Medway, he has resided in Clark for the past 40 years. Mr. Medway worked as a self-employed contractor for 40years and took pride in his work. He loved music and was a drummer in multiple bands in his younger years. He was fond of the beach and spent many summers in Long Beach Island with his children as they were growing up. His friends affectionately referred to him as "Cowboy Rich", as he was rarely seen not wearing one of his signature cowboy hats. His laugh and his silly sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Mr. Medway is survived by four children; Stacey A. Medway, Jessica Kelly and her husband James, Alexis Medway, and Nicholas Medway; and two grandchildren, Landon and Brynn Kelly.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Sunday May 21, 2023 at 45 Briar Heath Lane, Clark, NJ 07066, from 1-4 pm, All are welcome to attend and share fond memories of Richard. Arrangements are under the direction of the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066.
