Patrick J. Brooks

Patrick Brooks, age 77, passed away on Thursday November 24, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Binghamton, NY to Clayton and Mary Brooks, he then resided in West Orange, Union, Edison and most recently Clark for the past 8 years.  

He honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970, where he was awarded several medals for distinguished service.

What Pat valued most was his family, a good glass of red wine, and a great meal. He was happiest when his house was filled with love and laughter. Anyone who stepped into his home became family. He was adored by so many and everyone’s favorite Uncle Pat!

Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Gloria (nee Villas); four children, Stephen Brooks and wife Shari, Kelli Geoghegan and husband Morgan, Leigh Sidonio and husband Dominic, and Patti Weber and husband Jason; ten grandchildren, Morgan Patrick, Kaitlin, Nicholas and wife Madison, Ryan, Jordan, Jenna, Jessica, Jacob, Rylie and Bradyn; his brother, Jimmy Brooks; his sister-in-law, Grace Villas, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday November 29, 2022, from 2-5:30 pm at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Prayer Service will be offered at 5:30 pm followed by US Army Military Honors to conclude the evening.
