Patricia (O'Connell) Hemmings

Patricia Hemmings (nee O’Connell), age 65, passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2022, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerset, surrounded by her family.

Born in Elizabeth, to Charles, III and Patricia O’Connell, she was raised in Roselle and most recently resided in Piscataway for the past 40 years. Mrs. Hemmings has worked as a clerk for Stop & Shop in Piscataway since 2008. She had many interests, she loved animals, gardening, and genealogy. Most of all, she loved owls and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. 

Mrs. Hemmings is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, James Hemmings; two daughters, Marie Hemmings-Hernandez and her husband Christian, Jamie Hemmings and her husband Jason Ashcom; five grandchildren Ashely, Zyiire, Robert, Lilliana and Jason.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Monday May 9, 2022 from

11 am-1pm at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Avenue Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
