Norman A. Rost, age 68, passed away on Monday August 29, 2022, at the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Scotch Plains.
Born in NYC, to Manfred and Annie Rost, Mr. Rost grew up in Princeton. He has most recently resided in Clark for the past 20 years. He had a Master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers. He had a long and distinguished career with the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Manhattan, where he served for over thirty years as an enforcement data quality expert.
His favorite pastime was hiking. He dreamed of opening a bicycle repair shop once he retires.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Anita Frydrych Rost; one son, Asher Rost; one daughter, Peninah Malka; three grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Foster, Sonya Bradski, and Claudia Handwerker.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday August 31, 2022, at the Cedar Park Cemetery 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652, at 1:15 pm.
