May P. Lystash (nee Posuwalo), age 92, of Allamuchy, passed away peacefully on Friday June 19, 2020, at the Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Morristown, NJ.
Born in Roselle, to John and Anna Posuwalo, she was raised there, then resided in Clark for 65 years before recently moving to Allamuchy. Mrs. Lystash worked as a secretary for Esso of Linden and then as a supervisor of the Union County Clerks Office of Elizabeth for 25 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of the St. John the Apostle Rosary Altar Society and spent many years volunteering her time focusing on helping handicapped children.
Mrs. Lystash is survived by one son; Glenn E. Lystash and his wife Randi; grandson Trevor Lystash; one daughter Debra Lystash; five grandchildren; Trevor, Charles, Mark, Jamie, Brian, and Hollie; one great granddaughter; Bridgette; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years the late Edward J. Lystash (2008); three sons; Richard, Edward, and Michael Lystash.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a gathering on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066, from 10-10:30 am, followed by a graveside service at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Kindly omit flowers.
