Mary Ann (Churpakovich) Writz

Mary Ann Writz (nee Churpakovich), age 78, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2020, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. 

Born in Jersey City, to John and Mary Churpakovich, Mrs. Writz has resided in Rahway for the past 47 years. She worked as the head contract coordinator for the Schering-Plough Corporation of Union from 1959-2002. She loved her animals, dogs and cats, but especially her beloved cockatoo "Captain" of 36 years. 

Mrs. Writz is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years August Ted Writz; one son Mark Writz; one daughter Roxanne Writz; two grandchildren, William Tevlin andSarah Kopacz; five great grandchildren; and her niece April Caballero and her husband Hector. 

A Private Service and gathering will be offered and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date while New Jersey endures the limitations on travel and gatherings.
