Mary Beth (Lesniak) Colicchio

Mary Beth Colicchio (nee Lesniak), age 61, of Linden, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday April 1, 2020, at her residence.

Born in Elizabeth, to John and Rita Lesniak, Mrs. Colicchio has resided in Linden for the past 60 years. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family and friends.

Mrs. Colicchio is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years Thomas Colicchio; three daughters, Kimberly Colicchio, Amanda Colicchio-Fernandez, and Michelle Colicchio; two brothers, Thomas and his wife Barbara, and William Lesniak and his wife Mariclare; and two sisters, Denise Keenan-Piazza and her husband Frank, and Jean Bellero and her husband Charlie.

In her spare time Mary loved to shop for bargains and do crafts. She was always the person people came to when they needed help with where to find a good deal, or creative ideas when working on a project. Mary was always full of energy and considered to be the “life of the party”.

A Private Committal Service was offered on Friday April 3, 2020. Plans for a Memorial Mass celebrating Mary’s life are postponed while the State of New Jersey endures the limitations surrounding travel and gatherings.
