Margaret C. (Dahl) Giezey

On Saturday Dec 26th, 2020, Margaret C. Giezey, loving mother of her four children, Donna, Michael, Laura & Mark, passed away at the age of 74.

Born July 1st, 1946 in Newark, N.J. to Edwin and Margaret Dahl. She married Michael Giezey at 18 and had all of her four children by age 25. She raised her four children, and many of her children's friends called her Mom. At the age of 42 she attended night school with her daughter, Laura, to get her high school diploma. She divorced in 1994 and shortly after went to school to become a Certified Medical Assistant. She worked as a medical assistant for several years at the Diabetes and Osteoporosis Center of Piscataway, before a heart attack forced her to retire in 2010. She loved helping patients and had a way of making them feel comfortable. She was a phenomenal phlebotomist, and was asked for specifically, due to her gentle touch and precision with the needle. Her work was very fulfilling to her because she loved helping people and was also very fascinated by medical science.

Margaret was amazing at figuring things out. From her financial finagling of "robbing Peter to pay Paul" to keep things afloat, to fixing the plumbing or the family car. She was an amazing artist and crafter. She could crochet just about anything with perfection. She could draw just about anything and loved to doodle. Although her children were well into adulthood, she never stopped being a mom. She was loved by many and will be forever held in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Friday January 1, 2020, from 5-7 pm, then again on Saturday from 1-3 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, 07066. A Service will be offered from 3-3:30 pm. Cremation Services are private.
