Lydia Tola Obituary

Lydia S. Tola (nee Spadaro), age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Westfield, NJ, to John and Anne Spadaro, she was a longtime resident of Clark, then East Brunswick, and most recently Rahway. Mrs. Tola worked as a secretary for the Union County Vocational-Technical School of Scotch Plains for 25 years. She had a creative knack for everything, especially knitting and crocheting.

Mrs. Tola is survived by one daughter, Kim Figurelli and her husband Dr. Gerard Figurelli; one son, Jack Tola Jr. and his wife Kathy; two sisters, Yola De Prospero and Leah Passariello; four grandchildren, Robert Reina, Eric Figurelli, Aimee Leone and her husband Casey, and Austin Tola.

She is predeceased by her beloved late husband of 47 years the late Jack P. Tola (2001); one sister Dora Ciraolo.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday January 10, 2021, from 1-3 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Service will be offered on Monday January 11, 2021, at 10 am. Entombment, Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
