Linda M. (Brown) Daly

Linda M. Daly (nee Brown), age 63, passed peacefully away on Tuesday February 6, 2024, at the Overlook Medical Center, Summit surrounded by her family.

Born in Elizabeth, to William S. and Maxine Brown, she was raised in Clark, lived in Rahway for a short time before moving to Westfield 41 years ago. She was a realtor for over 25 years, most recently working for Century 21 of Scotch Plains. Linda was a member of the American Legion of Clark Post 328 Ladies Auxiliary Unit and a member of the Deutscher Club of Clark. She was proud of her Girl Scout accomplishments receiving every badge; hosting and entertaining parties for her children, and was an avid animal lover.

Linda was a longtime fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through the 90’s and was honored as Citizen of the Year in 1999 for her fundraising efforts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years Brian Daly; her children, Raymond W. Daly; & Christina M. Daly (William Buchok); two sisters, Marlene Horner and Girell Baitz; two grand-puppies, Gimlet and Cooper; & many nieces and nephews. 

Linda is predeceased by her parents, William S. Brown, Sr. and Maxine Brown; one brother, William S. Brown, Jr.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Friday February 9, 2024, from 3-8 pm at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Prayer Service will be offered at 7:30 pm. Cremation Services are Private.
