John A. Palac, age 91, of Clark, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Hackensack Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation at Shrewsbury.
Born in Elizabeth NJ, to Andrew and Anna Palac, he has resided in Clark for over 50 years. Mr. Palac served in the US Army following WWII from 1946-1948, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He worked for Singers Manufacturing of Elizabeth for 36 years as a repairman and in shipping and receiving. Mr. Palac was a longtime parishioner of St. Agnes R.C. Church of Clark, and was a member of American Legion of Clark Post 328.
Mr. Palac was a devoted and loving husband to his first wife, Millie, and after her passing to his second wife, Charlotte, to whom he was inseparable. He was a kind and caring man, helping others throughout his life. John had the gift for gab and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He will be forever missed.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 9:30 am, from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave., Clark; thence to St. Agnes R.C. Church, Clark where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Entombment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation Thursday from 3-6 pm. Mr. Palac is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his three brothers, Joseph, Edward, and Walter; and one sister Helen Wanca.
