Obituary
Janet M. Standish (nee Taurasi), age 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday April 28, 2023, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway.
Born in Ware, Massachusetts, to Michael and Bertha Taurasi, she resided in Clark for 25 years and most recently Linden for the past 23 years. She worked in clinical research for Novartis in Summit, NJ. Mrs. Standish was the first female Captain of the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad and was a member of the Clark Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Leo Standish; two daughters, Eileen Greb and Theresa Pflueger; five sons, Robert, Michael, John, and Peter Dynda, and Patrick Standish; 13 grandchildren; and one brother A. Raymond Taurasi.
Mrs. Standish was widowed by her husband, the late Robert M. Dynda.
