Janet M. (Pluta) Prasnal

Janet M. Prasnal (nee Pluta) age 81, passed away on Thursday September 9, 2021 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Rahway to Joseph and Helen Pluta and raised in Clark, Mrs. Prasnal was a longtime residence of Edison. After graduating Arthur L Johnson High School,l she went on to study at  Drake Business school and became a secretary.  She worked as a secretary in Purolator where she met the love of her life Frank S. Prasnal. She raised two beautiful daughters while still working as a secretary before she retired.

After her retirement she was blessed to watch her grandchildren and share in all of their activities. She was not only a grandmother to four amazing grandchildren, but to all of their friends as well. Everyone called her Gram.

She had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time outside creating a beautiful garden. Christmas was her favorite holiday and spent all year creating ornaments or gift for everyone. Her door was always open to all. She enjoyed cruising with friend and family and was the first one to agree to the adventure.

Mrs. Prasnal was also known to many around town as the “bee lady,” with a supply of honey at her home for all.
