Carmen M. (Catala Medina) Rivera

Carmen M. Rivera (nee Catala Medina), age 86, of Clark, passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2020, at the Clark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Manuel and Monserrate Catala, Mrs. Rivera lived in Linden, NJ for 10 years and most recently resided in Clark, NJ.  She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by three daughters  Dianeth, Evelin, Ramona, along with five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years the late Marcelino Rivera (2020).

A Private Committal Service will be offered on April 29, 2020, at the Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Plans for services celebrating Carmen and Marcelino’s life are postponed while the State of New Jersey endures limitations surrounding travel and gatherings.
