Wincenty JazwinskiMay 9, 1940 ~ October 3, 2017 (age 77)
Our beloved Wincenty Jazwinski, 77, passed away peacefully at his home of 28 years in Linden on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Jazwinski was born in Stokowo-Bucki, Poland to Kazimierz and Marianna Jazwinski. He held a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and worked as an engineer with Ford Motor Company for 31 years before retiring in 2004. He was an avid reader and sports fan, but above all else, he was a loving and devoted family man. His hobbies included spending time with his children and grandchildren; strolling with them through area parks teaching them about gardening, wildlife and fishing. He was an avid mathematician who enjoyed chess, logical puzzles and debates. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Hedwig R.C. Church and will be missed by all who knew this great man.
Surviving is his wife, Zofia Lindnal Jazwinski; his children, Mark Jazwinski (Jennifer), Diane Jazwinski Hendrix (John), and Thomas Jazwinski; his siblings, Bolesowa Jazwinska, Stanislaw Jazwinski, Zygmunt Jazwinski, Apolonia Jazwinska, and Feliks Jazwinski; and 5 grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandra and Sophia Hendrix and Alexander and Natalie Jazwinski.
Visitation will be at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark on Thursday from 7-9PM and Friday from 3-5 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10AM at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Elizabeth. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
