William D. DePalma, age 93, of Colonia, died peacefully at his residence on Saturday December 8, 2018.
Born in Belleville, to James and Philomena, Mr. DePalma was a longtime resident of Rahway. He worked as the owner of Franklin Auto Parts of Bloomfield for 45 years. Mr. DePalma honorably served in the US Army from 1943-1946 during WWII.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Tuesday December 11, 2018, at 9:30 am, from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ, thence to St. John the Apostle R.C. Church, Linden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation Monday from 4-8 pm.
Mr. DePalma is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years Martha (nee Brango); his daughter Drena Miranda and her husband James, Jr. of Colonia; 2 brothers Daniel and James DePalma; 2 grandchildren, Gina Garofalo (Anthony) and James W. Miranda; 2 great grandchildren Anthony P. and Alyssa Garofalo.
