Mr. Stanley J. Tecza passed away Tuesday December 12th, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ.  He was 85 years old.

Born in Elizabeth to Anthony and Agnes Tecza, Stanley was a lifelong resident of the city.  Mr. Tecza served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War.  He had a long career as a systems service technician, retiring from Honeywell in Westfield in 1996.

He was an avid coin and stamp collector and he also enjoyed frequent trips to Atlantic City.

Mr. Tecza was predeceased by his wife, Audrey, in 1987; and by his siblings, (John Tecza, Sofie O’Connor & Veronica Brescher.)

He is survived by his son, Scott Tecza of Elizabeth; by nieces Patricia, Betsy, Dolly Mary Jane & Geraldine and nephews Bert & Richard.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday and from 9-10 am Thursday at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ.  The funeral service will begin at 10:30 am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Newark, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors project.
