Ruth Jean Morris passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Rahway Hospital.  She was a lifelong resident of Rahway.

Ruth was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Rahway, where she served as Deacon. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, eating chocolate, especially Peppermint Patties, and taking walks on the beach with the occasional stop on the boardwalk for some taffy.  She loved the color yellow, Ms. Pacman and Skeeball, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Morris, who died in 1985 and her daughter, Nancy Bandeira, who died in 2011.  She is survived by her children, Debbie Busch-O’Connor, George Morris, Susan Rieder, Cathy Marsh and Gail Pinto.  She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren and 14 great – grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark on Sunday from 3-7PM. A funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Rahway, 1731 Church St., Rahway, NJ on Monday at 11AM. Interment will follow at Rahway Cemetery.
