Ruth (Baber) Granrath

Ruth Granrath (nee Baber) passed away on Saturday August 4, 2018, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Friday August 10, 2018, at 10 am, from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, thence to Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, for a Committal Service before Entombment. Visitation Thursday from 6-9 pm. In lieu flowers, the family requests donations in Ruth's name to The Arc of Union County 70 Diamond Road, Springfield, NJ 07081 www.arcunion.org.

Ruth was born in Newark, to Carl and Margaret Baber, and has resided in Clark for the past 64 years. She was a homemaker, but also devoted time to The Arc of Union County helping people with disabilities. Ruth was also a past Den Mother for the Cub Scout Troop #145 of Clark.

Beloved wife for 43 years of the late Peter J. Granrath (1990). Ruth is survived by her sons, Douglas J., Peter J. Granrath, and the late Ronald (1998); 3 grandchildren Erin Allen (Joe), Karl Granrath (Rachel) and Ross Granrath; 4 greatgrandchildren Jackson and Brendan Allen and Mae and Maya Granrath.
