Mrs. Julia N. Poznanski passed away October 8th, 2017 at her home in Clark.  She was 84 years old.

Born in Moundsville, West Virginia she had been a Clark resident since 1962.  Julia enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and dance recitals, and cherished time spent with family and friends.

Mrs. Poznanski was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Logothetis, and brother, Deno G. Nicholas.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, John Poznanski; by their son, John Nicholas Poznanski and his wife Angela; by her grandchildren John A., Jackie, and Zoe Poznanski; by her sister, Georgia Zavolas and her husband Haris A. Zavolas of Clark; sister, Sophia Nicholas of Athens, Greece; sister-in-law, Frances Nicholas of Clark; and by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday October 11th at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066.  The funeral service will begin at 11 am Thursday at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield.  Burial will follow in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia.
