Frieda Rautenberg Konopi, 93

Frieda Rautenberg Konopi, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Clark Nursing and Rehab. Frieda was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1956. She had lived in Rahway and Passaic before moving to Fanwood in 2000.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nicolas Konopi, who died in 2004. Surviving are two sons, Peter (Carolyn) of Clark and Jack (Constancia) of Wharton, a daughter, Sonia (Charles) of Mine Hill, and two grandchildren, Kevin (Michele) of Philadelphia and Kristen (Jeff) of Somerset.

Visitation will be held at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark on Wednesday, December 27th from 4-7PM, with a service at 7PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
