Carol Ann (Lukens) Pluta

Carol Ann Pluta, age 74, of Clark, died on Friday June 23, 2017 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Mrs. Pluta is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Richard J. Pluta; daughter in-law Lisa Tambasco; sister in-laws Janet Prasnal and Cathy Delaney; 3 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving son Richard C. Pluta (2010) and brother in-law Donald Pluta and his wife Margaret.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony on Tuesday June 27, 2017, at 8:30 am, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, thence to St. Agnes R.C. Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:45 am. Entombment, Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Gathering hours will be on Monday evening from 5- 8 pm. Born in Elizabeth to Charles and Thelma Lukens, she has since resided in Clark for the past 56 years. Mrs. Pluta worked as a maintenance worker for Martin's Furniture Store formerly of Clark for 6 years. She also worked for Foodtown of Clark and proudly served as 3rd Ward Councilwoman of Clark for several years.
