Carleen Nevargic, 81
Clark—Carleen Nevargic, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018
at her home in Clark surrounded by her loving family. Carleen was born and raised
in Newark prior to moving to Clark in 1968. She finished her husband’s term as a
Councilperson on the Clark Town Council, after his passing in 2004. Carleen was an
avid card player.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter P. Nevargic, Sr. and is survived
by her two sons, Peter Jr. and Victor Nevargic, both of Clark. She was the sister of
Frank, Jr., Ralph, John, and Victor DeMarzo, Dolores Donahue, and the late Lucille
Riley, Antoinette Carroll, and Mary Waer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday at 10AM at
Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark. Interment will follow at
St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clark. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6PM.
