Bogumila Theresa “Terry” Wiktor, 83, of St. Pete Beach Florida and formerly of Cranford passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018.
Born in Poland, Bogusia and her family were taken from their home when she was five years old to a retention camp in Germany. After World War II, she immigrated with her mother to Newark while her siblings went on to settle in other countries. At the age of 20 she married the love of her life, her late husband Dominik.
They started their family in Irvington and in the early sixties they moved to their beloved hometown of Cranford. In the mid-nineties, they bought a second home in St. Pete Beach which they considered their winter paradise and joined Isla Del Sol Golf Club where they were able to continue a sport they both enjoyed year round. Wherever they made their home, they made treasured lifelong friendships. Her heart and home were always open to all.
She was a long time parishioner of St. Michael's R.C. Church of Cranford and most recently St. John Vianney R.C. Church of St. Pete Beach, FL.
She retired from J.B. Williams & Smith Kline Beecham after working for many years in the accounting department.
Bogusia lived a full rich life surrounded by her loving family and cherished friends enjoying extensive travel throughout the years. She will be sorely missed by those she leaves behind, but we take comfort in knowing she is dancing in heaven with the love of her life.
Daughter of the late Jozef and Maria Ksiezopolski and wife of the late Dominik Mark Wiktor she is survived by her three daughters; Terri Wiktor, Barbara Wiktor, and Diana Simpson and her husband John. She was also predeceased by her sister Stefania Modrzecki; and her two brothers Mieczyslaw Ksiezopolski and Marian Ksiezopolski.
