Clark – Barbara DeMarzo,80, passed away peacefully at her home in Clark on November 29, surrounded by her family. Born in Newark she moved to Clark with her husband 46 years ago.

Visitation will be held Sunday 4-8 PM at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave, Clark. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday 10 AM at St John the Apostle RC Ch, Clark. In lieu of flowers donations to Susan G Komen Breast Cancer (www.komen.org) would be appreciated.

Barbara enjoyed cooking the weekly Sunday dinners with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets for babies which were distributed at many baby showers. In recent years she began blanket quilting joining a Clark quilting group. The blankets she made for her family had a theme for that person whether it be sports, a hobby or something from their profession which was personalized for that person. She loved traveling and going to casinos with her sister Joan. After Joan passed she took monthly bus trips to Atlantic City sponsored by the local church. She was an avid follower of all her grandson’s hockey teams and her granddaughter’s softball teams and dance recitals.

Barbara was pre-deceased by her parents Louis and Evelyn Simeone, her in laws Frank Sr and Angela DeMarzo and her sisters Joan and Janet. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Frank Jr.; her children Frank III and his wife Gloria of Clark, Angela Tyrrell and her husband Gary of Colonia, Louis and his wife Lori of Clark and Debbie Meagher and her husband Kevin of Clark; and her grandchildren Kimberly Tyrrell, Louis, Victoria, Salvtore, Vincenzo and Nicola DeMarzo and Allison and Kristen Meagher.
