Anthony P. Butfiloski

Anthony P. Butfiloski, age 80, of Clark, peacefully passed away on October 17, 2018, at the JFK Haven Hospice, Edison. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Monday October 22, 2018, at 9:45 am, from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, thence to St. Agnes R.C. Church, Clark, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Cremation Service private. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Friends of Linden Animal Shelter 1811 Lower Rd. Linden, NJ 07036, FOLAS.org or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, St. Jude.org. Born in Elizabeth, to Anthony and Anne, Mr. Butfiloski lived in Linden for many years before moving to Clark in 1966. He is the owner and operator of Tony’s Sunoco for over 40 years.

Beloved husband for 60 years of Alice (nee Dillman); he is survived by his 4 children, Kenneth of Massachusetts, Karen of Edison, Sandra of Whitehouse, and Janine Mariano of Bayville; 10 grandchildren, Kristin, Ashley, Samantha, Kelly, Steven, Jessica, Sean, Michael, Daniel, and Angelina; 5 great grandchildren, Penelope, Madelyn, Ryan, Zachary, and Addison; 2 brothers, Robert and mark, and is predeceased by his sister Eileen Ciricillo.

Tony enjoyed his years in retirement following the stock market , working in his yard and fiddling with his computers. His favorite past time was of course was his family. He spent every weekend down the shore with his wife, children and grandchildren.
