Clark – Wasyl Mandrona, 95, passed away Saturday (December 26, 2015) at RWJ Hospital at Rahway. Born in Newark, he lived in Hillside before moving to Clark in 1955. Wasyl was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army. He was employed as a machine operator with Jiffy Packaging Co. in Somerset for 51 years before retiring. He was a member of the Clark Seniors and the Polish Club in Clark. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Regina, who died December 13th; and his two sons, Dale and Wayne. He is survived by his three grandchildren, Dale, II, Kristen and Wayne, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Garrett and Emmitt. Visitation will be a Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, on Tuesday December 29th from 11 AM to 12 PM with a prayer service at 12:00. Entombment with military honors will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clark Volunteer Fire Dept., 250 Broadway, Clark, NJ 07066.
