Walter Kaczan

Walter Kaczan, 72, a gentle soul, went to heaven Wednesday (January 20, 2016) at his home in Rahway with his family by his side. He is now with his beloved parents, Stella Kaczan and Walter Kaczan, Sr. and his brother, William Kaczan again. Born and raised in Jersey City, he lived there before moving to Rahway six years ago.

Walter was employed as a mail handler with the US Postal Service in Kearny before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kirsch Kaczan; his daughter, Dorothy McKittrick; his son, Thomas (and his wife, Sherry); four grandchildren, Jillian (and her husband, Joseph Makarewicz), TJ, Gabrielle, Isabella; and two great-grandchildren, MAXWELL and Lucas.

The funeral will be from Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, on Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass at St. Agnes R.C. Church, 332 Madison Hill Rd., Clark at 9:45 AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
