Virginia Sturchio, 91

Virginia Sturchio, 91, of Clark, entered into eternal rest of Thursday, March 24, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Home in Woodbridge.  Born and raised in Irvington, she had worked at the Prudential Insurance Company in Newark.  She and her husband married in 1949 and settled in Clark in 1960, where she later worked at the Clark Public Library before retiring in 1995.

Mrs. Sturchio was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence Sturchio, Jr., who died in 2011, and her sister, Rita Ann Mahler, who died in 2010.  She is survived by her children, Carol Lindemann and her husband Richard, Lawrence Sturchio and his wife Donna, and Joni Grodeck and her husband Paul.  She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Richard Lindemann, Jr., Katherine Bertogli and her husband Steven, Christine Thompson and her husband Scott, Chelsea Grodeck and Matthew Sturchio; as well as her three great-grandchildren, Bradley, Haley and Lara.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral from Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark on Monday, March 28th at 10:30AM thence to Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Westfield for a Funeral Mass at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.  Visitation will be on Saturday, March 26th from 3-7PM.
