Mary Vickery, 77

Clark - Mary Vickery, 77, (nee Maloney) passed away peacefully on Wednesday (May 17, 2017) at home with her family by her side. Born in Lost Creek, PA, she lived in Union before moving to Clark in 1964.

Mary was employed as the Assistant Town Clerk in Clark for many years before retiring. Prior to working in the Clerk’s office, Mary was a reservation agent with Eastern Airlines and a tax consultant with H&R Block. She had belonged to the ladies auxiliary of the Clark Volunteer Fire Department and was active with the Clark Seniors.

She was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Vickery, who died in 2011. Surviving are her daughter, Denise Sehnal and her husband, Lawrence; her sons, Jack Vickery, Jr; and George and his wife, Dina; and three grandchildren, Daniel Sehnal and Ryan and Cali Vickery

The funeral will be from Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, on Saturday May 20th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass at St. John the Apostle R.C. Church, Clark, at 10 AM.  Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9.
