Joseph Vincent Cospito

Joseph Vincent Cospito, 66, passed away suddenly on Friday (October 2, 2015) at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.  Born in Jersey City, he had been a longtime resident of Clark.

He was a 1967 graduate of Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Kean University.  He worked with American Solenoid as a computer manager for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time on his boat and salt water fishing.  He was an avid sports fan, and loved to watch the Yankees, Giants and the Redbulls.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia Cospito; his son, Kenneth Cospito and his fiancé, Suzanne; and his three grandchildren Lisa, Alexandra and Joshua.

The funeral will be from Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave, Clark on Wednesday at 9AM followed by a 10AM funeral Mass at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Clark. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice.
