Joanna Sweeney

Joanna Sweeney, 30, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday (September 17, 2015). Born in Red Bank, she grew up in Rahway and graduated from Rahway High School in 2004.

Joanna was employed as a server at the Broad Street Diner in Hamilton.

She will be remembered as a doting mother and a wonderful daughter and sister.

Surviving are her son, William Antonio Mack, III; her fiancé,  William Mack, Jr.; her mother, Kathleen Sweeney; her brother Patrick Joseph Sweeney, her sister, Sarah Sweeney and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Sweeney, who died in 2000.

Visitation will be held at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, on Tuesday from 1 PM to 3 PM with a service at 3 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may to a fund set up for her son’s education at youcaring.com.
