George A. Tingo

George A. Tingo, age 89, of Basking Ridge, died on Sunday September 17, 2017, at Manor Care of New Providence.

Born in Bronx, NY, to George and Adele Tingo, George has been a Basking Ridge resident for 17 years, prior to that he resided in both Harrison, NY and Linden. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1946-1947 as a Seaman 1st Class. George worked as a Salesman for the Astor Supply Co. of NY, NY for 20 years.

George was predeceased by his wife Winifred in 1995. He is survived by his children George Tingo, Jr. and Jeanne Tingo; and his beloved companion Lottie Frey.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Gathering on Saturday September 30, from 1-4 pm at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, followed by a Funeral Service at 4pm and Military Honors. Kindly omit flowers.
