Genevieve Szczepanski

Genevieve Szczepanski, 91, passed away Sunday (November 15, 2015) at her daughter’s home in Clark. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, she was a lifelong resident of Clark.

Mrs. Szczepanski was employed as a secretary with Regina in Rahway, where she met her husband, and retired early to raise her family. She was a longtime member of St. John the Apostle R.C. Church where she was active with the seniors group, and was also a member of the Clark Seniors.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, who died in 2000. Surviving are her son, Donald (and his wife, Anne) of Texas; daughters, Nancy Zagurek (and her husband, Richard) of Clark and Christine Szczepanski of Somerset; and two grandchildren, Debra Anne and Jeffrey Donald Szczepanski of Texas; and her devoted schnauzer, Pepper.

The funeral will be from Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, on Wednesday at 10 AM followed by an 11 AM funeral Mass at St. John the Apostle R.C. Church. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM.
