Elia Tarsia

Clark – Elia Tarsia, 85, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2017. Elia was born in Bisaccia, Italy and she came to the United States when she was 16 years old and attended Battan HS in Elizabeth. She has resided in Clark 34 years coming from Elizabeth.

Elia was devoted to her loving family as wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Mrs. Tarsia is survived by her husband Bruno; her sons Leonardo and Maurizio and his wife Helena, and her daughter Angela Ottobre and her husband Nicholas; her cherished grandson Sebastian; and her sister Serafina Clemente. She was pre deceased by her brother Frank Scarlatella.

The funeral will be on Wednesday 8:45am from Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave, Clark with Mass to follow at St. Agnes RC Church on Madison Hill Rd at 9:45 am. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 – 8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Association (www.alz.org ) would be appreciated.
