Charles Przywara, Jr.

Charles Przywara, 79, of Colonia, NJ, passed away on Sunday December 13, 2015 at RWJ Hospital at Rahway.  Charles was born in Elizabeth and lived there prior to moving to Colonia in 1965.  He attended St. Patrick’s High School in Elizabeth and went on to earn his Associate’s Degree. Charles went to work with S.E. & M. Vernon, Inc. in Elizabeth for many years, and spent the last years of his career with Regency International in Mountainside.

Charles was a longtime communicant of St. John Vianney R.C. Church in Colonia.  He was also a member and past president of the Lion’s Club in Clark, and enjoyed his years spent in his bowling league.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Eileen Przywara, who died in January; as well as his son-in-law, Rick Sutton, who died in November.  He is survived by his loving children, Charlotte Sutton, Denise Knox (Jim), and Dennis Przywara (Ina); his cherished grandchildren, Dawn Marie and Richard Sutton, James and Dennis Knox, Elizabeth, Matthew and Rebecca Przywara. He is also survived by his adored great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Ava, Zoe, Maggie, Liam, Amelia and Collin.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Avenue, Clark, NJ on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, 420 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ at 9:30 am. Committal service and entombment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery & Mausoleum, Colonia, NJ.
