Catherine Lamendola

Catherine Lamendola, 89, passed away Friday (September 4, 2015) at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born and raised in Elizabeth, she lived in Clark for over 30 years.

Catherine graduated from Battin High School and worked at Bethlehem Steel in Elizabeth before retiring.

She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore, who died in 1984 and is survived by her daughter, Barbara DiMarco (and her husband, Joseph); her sister, Louise Malatak (and her husband, Conrad); two grandchildren, Joseph Peter DiMarco (and his wife, Cristine) and Linda DiMarco; great-granddaughter, Gianna; her sister-in-law, Jennie Bassillo; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, on Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with a prayer service at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
