Beatrice Emma Bernzott

Beatrice Emma Bernzott, 87, passed away Thursday June 23rd, 2016 at overlook hospital in Summit, NJ.  Born in New York City, she lived in Clark, Colonia, and Maplewood before moving to Linden over 20 years ago.

Beatrice was employed as an account representative with Bell Atlantic in Scotch Plains before retiring.  She was a member of Linden Historical Society; Concerned Citizens of Linden; and had at one time ran for mayor of Linden. She was the recipient of the NJ State Governor’s Jefferson award for Humanitarianism in 2012.

She is survived by her son Donald Stulz; her granddaughter, Rosemary DeGeorge (and her husband, Joseph) and two great-grandchildren.

Private arrangements are by the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home in Clark. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations to the Linden Fire Department
